What we collect
When you post a lost or found bird, the details you enter — photo, description, approximate location, and the contact method you choose to share — become part of a public listing. Please only share contact details you're comfortable making public. In this build, your own posts are also saved locally in your browser so you can manage them.
Location (approximate by design)
To protect your safety and privacy, we never store or display a precise location — even if you tap "use my location". Your coordinates are rounded to a coarse area (roughly a 1–2 km zone) before they ever leave your device and again before they are saved, so an exact address can't be reconstructed. The map shows this approximate area, not a pinpoint.
Advertising & analytics
We may show ads (e.g. via Google AdSense) and use privacy-respecting analytics to keep the service free. These partners may use cookies as described in their own policies.
Your choices
You can edit or delete any post you created at any time from the "My Posts" page. Removing a post deletes it from this browser's storage.
