The story

I found a small, friendly pet parrot outdoors in Des Plaines, IL, on October 13, 2026. The bird flew toward me, and I brought it inside to keep it safe. It appears to be a Green-cheeked Conure with green wings, a yellow-orange chest, and a reddish tail. The bird is safe and being cared for. I’m looking for its rightful owner. Please contact me with photos or other proof of ownership.
